onething NYC report
This past weekend a team from IHOP-KC hosted a onething regional conference in New York. We were in Queens with around 1,500 lovers of Jesus. Here is the recap from the weekend:
onething NYC was met with great expectation as many different ethnic groups and congregations met to encounter the Holy Spirit and cry out for revival. Immediately out of the gate from the first session the Holy Spirit met us with a tangible presence and grace to enter into prayer and worship. We spent most of the first night in intercession for college campuses, high schools, and various leaders within the city.
We held the event at a Korean church in Queens known as Promise Ministries. They have daily prayer meetings at 5AM so it made it easy for the conference to enter into prayer. We could sense that the road for corporate prayer had been laid from this particular congregation and that the Lord was calling the church of NYC to pray and fast.
We witnessed once again the ministry of the Holy Spirit at this onething regional. There were physical healings, first-time salvations and on Saturday night there was a strong Holy Spirit commissioning into the Sacred Charge. A young lady suffering from demonic oppression was delivered and filled with holy joy as the Lord’s presence rested on her. At one time as people were responding to the Sacred Charge I witnessed the power of God fall on about eight people and they all fell to the ground shaking and crying. They later testified experiencing the fire of God.
The onething team preached on intimacy with God, the end-time worship movement and the forerunner calling. The entire worship team also held a time of Q & A for several hundred worship leaders, musicians and singers. We felt the Lord stirred many to the place of prayer and allegiance to Jesus. May God receive the reward of His suffering in NYC!
Begin to pray for our next regional conference, onething Dallas June 4-5.
Be blessed,
Wes
