My wife and I went to the Onething Conference this past weekend in DFW, we lived right down the road from where it was being held and was not about to miss an amazing opportunity to get messed up by God. In high school I felt a strong call of God on my life that He wanted me to be His Shofar. At first I didn't have a clue what that meant, but after studying Scripture and other things found that the Shofar was a key instrument in the start of Battle. The horn would be blown, and the men would come to battle. Actually that same word that is used for the sound of war is used in Revelations when John said he heard a Voice like a trumpet. Pretty cool. But I say all of that to say this. Saturday when you were talking about being a forerunner, my heart was burning inside me! I answered the call to commit myself to the 7 commitments of a forerunner and since then, I haven't been the same. I want to thank you for being open to what Holy Spirit wants to say through you. My wife and I are joining with a pastor in the area who is starting a church, and he has asked us to be college and career pastors.
